I’m frequently asked where to buy LFP-batteries outside Germany as Eremit does not ship worldwide. So my aim here is to provide help for those users. My expectation is that after my initial message this thread is filled with content by other users.
Hint: Battery source doesn’t mean automatically that those batteries a ready to use. Some years ago I wrote a tutorial on how to self assemble a battery with a bms: Ein kleiner LiFePO4-Akkupack mit Schutzschaltung (BMS) im Selbstbau.
What you need is exactly one cell. In my opinion (even Eremit’s package provides 6000 mAh) something like 2500 mAh is enough. Battery’s size is 18650, 26650 or 32700.
A source for a BMS might be something like https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005001560134557.html. It’s really tiny. Pay attention to buy the 3,2 V variant as 3,7 V is for LI ion.
